  • THEATRE FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLERS - THIS CLASS IS DE-SIGNED FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLERS. AS A STEPPING STONE TO ADDITIONAL TRAINING, THIS FOUNDATIONAL AND FUN CLASS WILL PUT THEIR IMAGINATIONS IN MOTION WHILE ALSO PROVIDING YOUR STUDENT WITH THE NECESSARY TECHNIQUES TO OVERCOME STAGE FRIGHT. YOUR STUDENT WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THEATRE GAMES AND THE ART OF IMPROVISATION AS WELL AS GAIN A FOUNDATION IN SCRIPT WORK.
  • THURSDAYS 6:30 P.M.—7:30 P.M.
  • THEATRE FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLERS —THIS CLASS IS FOR BEGINNERS AS WELL AS FOR THEATRE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN INTRODUCED TO THE ART OF DRAMA. THIS CLASS WILL TEACH YOUR STUDENT SPECIFIC METHODS FOR POLISHING HIS/HER ACTING CRAFT. WE WILL EXPLORE THE METHODS OF DIFFERENT DIRECTORS AND HOW TO MAKE A CHARACTER BELIEVABLE. WE WILL EXPLORE ALL OF THIS WHILE LEARNING ABOUT PUTTING TOGETHER A FULL PRODUCTION.  THE CLASS WILL ALSO FOCUS ON THE AUDITION AND THE AUDITION PROCESS.
  • WEDNESDAYS 7:30 P.M.—8:30 P.M.
  • YVU ENSEMBLE - FOR THE ADVANCED STUDENT, THIS CLASS WILL FULLY EXPLORE THE SOURCES OF DRAMATIC ACTION THAT RESIDE IN YOUR STUDENT, YOUR STUDENT'S ACTING PARTNER AND IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES. STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP A PHILOSOPHICAL FRAMEWORK FOR UNDER-STANDING DRAMATIC ACTION. THIS WILL INCLUDE THE TRANSFERENCE OF LEARNING FROM “SCENE TO PLAY”. (Entry into this class by audition only)

Theatre Classes start at $75 a month, special rates for family members and multiple classes. Please contact us for Private Instruction on Acting, Voice, Guitar, & Piano Lessons. Rental space is also available for small fee

At Young Voices United Performing Arts School, we take care to provide our students high quality classes personalized for their unique needs. We are available to answer your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

We have a variety of classes, including:
Dance Classes – Jessica Fowler
MODERN/FUSION/JAZZ —WILL CENTER AROUND A DANCER’S OWN INTERPRETATIONS INSTEAD OF STRUCTURED STEPS, AS IN TRADITIONAL BALLET DANCING. STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO OVERLOOK THEIR LIMITATIONS OF FAVORED MOVEMENTS. AS EXPERIENCE GROWS, SO WILL THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNIQUES. 

ELEMENTARY DANCE: TUESDAYS 6:30 P.M.—7:30 P.M. 
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL DANCE: WEDNESDAYS 6:30 P.M.—7:30 P.M. 

Dance classes are $15 per class, or $55 a month.

WE HAVE PRIVATE INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE IN VOICE AND VOICE PREPARATION.  COST IS $55 PER MONTH FOR WEEKLY SESSIONS AT 45 MINUTES FOR EACH SESSION.

Home School Classes
Classes follow Georgia State Fine Arts Standards and will meet three days a week, Mon., Weds., and Fri.

Middle School classes  10am till 11am
High School classes  1pm till 2pm

These sessions will conclude with a full production  at the end of each semester.
